Job summary

The LEGO Group in London is seeking a Senior Manager, Sustainability to lead cross‑organisational initiatives that decarbonize materials and build partnerships for system‑wide change across industries. You will connect internal teams with external ecosystems, shaping long‑term strategies, and influencing global discussions while reporting to senior leadership.

This role focuses on ecosystem strategy, not just corporate sustainability, with a strong emphasis on travel and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in multi‑stakeholder partnerships and sustainability strategy.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills across formats.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to navigate complex market dynamics.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• Strong ownership mindset with project management capability.
• Willingness to travel 40 to 60 days annually.

Responsibilities

• Co‑shape and drive 2 to 3 high‑impact initiatives focused on decarbonizing materials.
• Manage strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders.
• Identify and engage emerging trends, technologies, and collaborators.
• Support senior leadership, including the Chief Sustainability Officer, on high‑level agendas and positioning.
• Contribute to long‑term system change strategies and sustainability roadmaps.
• Collaborate across internal teams including materials strategy, public affairs, and communications.
