Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) seeks a Head of Information Security and IT Governance to steer information security, technology risk and operational resilience, ensuring regulatory alignment and strategic outcomes.

You will shape security strategy, advise senior leaders and build a high-performing, inclusive team while enabling responsible innovation and sustainable growth across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Senior-level information security and governance leadership experience.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Develop and embed security policies, standards and controls.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for information security and data protection.
• Experience leading responses to cyber security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across information security, technology risk, IT governance and operational resilience.
• Develop and maintain policies, controls and governance frameworks that protect the business and support regulatory compliance.
• Lead the approach to emerging technology risks, including AI, automation and other digital capabilities.
• Oversee technology risks relating to suppliers, partners and externally provided services with proper checks and assurance.
• Provide clear advice to senior leaders, committees and stakeholders on complex risks and business impacts.
• Lead response to significant cyber security incidents and resilience events with effective communication.
• Lead, develop and inspire high-performing teams and foster an inclusive, risk-aware culture.
