OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Head of Indirect Procurement to lead strategic and commercial delivery across the UK & Ireland. You will shape the indirect procurement strategy, drive cost savings, risk management and supplier performance while partnering with executive stakeholders.

Based in the UK, the role leads a team of category managers, delivering transformational programmes, governance and ESG objectives across multiple spend categories within a national remit.

Qualifications

• Senior procurement leadership experience in a complex, multi-service organisation with high spend.
• Demonstrable experience delivering significant cost reduction within M&A environments.
• Strong leadership for senior teams and organisational change.
• Excellent commercial, financial and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of supply chain management, risk, governance and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management with executive-level influence.
• Experience driving performance improvements across large spend portfolios.
• Excellent communication and executive-level engagement.

Responsabilités

• Provide strong functional leadership to the Indirect spend area, mentoring and upskilling the team.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive risk strategy with robust mitigation approaches.
• Drive procurement transformation focusing on margin improvement, risk reduction, supplier management and revenue generation.
• Champion innovation, automation, digitalisation and AI within procurement.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders to influence strategy and outcomes.
• Ensure effective SRM and supplier performance improvements, value creation and resilience.
• Lead high-value sourcing programmes, frameworks and contract renewals.
• Deliver cost reduction targets and revenue generation in a commercially focused environment.
• Develop strategic supplier partnerships delivering competitive advantage.
• Monitor governance, policy, audit and compliance in sourcing and contracting activities.
• Support major bids, mobilisations and client-facing opportunities.
• Comply with procurement policy and delegated authority across indirect procurement.
• Promote ethical sourcing and ESG objectives within indirect spend.
