Job summary

Sky is seeking an experienced senior professional in HR to lead workforce compliance, employment tax and payroll activity across major integration programmes. You will manage data-driven reviews of contractor and contingent workforce arrangements, ensuring governance, controls and sustainable integration into Sky.

The role requires strong technical judgment, practical delivery capability and the ability to work with Legal, Finance, People and external advisers to mitigate risks and drive

Qualifications

• Significant experience in workforce compliance, employment tax, payroll compliance, internal audit, risk and controls.
• Experience in a large in-house function, professional services firm or consultancy.
• Strong understanding of contingent workforce and worker engagement models with tax/payroll knowledge.
• Proven experience leading complex, data-driven compliance, governance or transformation reviews.
• Excellent data analysis and reconciliation capability across HR, finance, payroll, procurement and contracts.
• Ability to design and execute risk-based sampling, evidence gathering and remediation activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead employment tax, payroll and workforce compliance workstreams supporting acquisitions, integrations and other changes.
• Assess risks identified through due diligence and translate findings into integration and remediation plans.
• Develop scalable approaches for bringing acquired businesses into Sky governance frameworks.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, People, Payroll, Procurement and external advisers to manage dependencies and risk.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to programme leaders and governance forums.
