Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Lead Procurement Manager for Logistics to develop and execute category strategies across a substantial spend portfolio, spanning transport, warehousing and last-mile services. You will lead complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations to maximise value while supporting service excellence and operational efficiency.

Successful candidates will drive procurement transformation, partner with senior stakeholders, and shape strategic programmes within a major UK retail network.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management.
• Experience managing complex, high-value supplier relationships.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders within large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across the Logistics portfolio.
• Lead complex sourcing projects, tenders and significant negotiations to optimise cost and create value.
• Ensure robust commercial governance, risk management and supplier compliance.
• Analyse spend, market trends and supplier capabilities to inform decision-making.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations to deliver commercial solutions.
