Job summary

easyJet is seeking a Lead Architect to steer architectural integrity across the Airline Operations Mission (e.g., Crew, Airports, Flight Operations, or Engineering). You will define target-state architecture, standards, and guardrails while enabling teams to make effective local decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in domain/enterprise/solution architecture
• Ability to lead across senior leadership and product teams
• Strong communication of complex tech to diverse audiences
• Balance strategic architecture with delivery pragmatism
• Familiarity with observability platforms and data architectures
• Knowledge of cloud-native platforms and platform engineering
• Understanding of identity federation and partner access management
• Experience with AI-enabled operational capabilities or analytics

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction within the Mission scope and act as escalation point for cross-product impact
• Define standards, guardrails, and patterns for adoption by product teams
• Establish design principles for reuse across teams and products
• Facilitate architecture reviews and design discussions aligned with enterprise strategy
• Assess deviations from standards and support teams accordingly
• Identify and migrate capabilities to shared Airline Operations Platform services
• Track emerging tech trends and readiness for AI, automation and platform evolution
