easyJet Airline Company PLC is seeking a Platform Chapter Lead – Engineering to modernise how we build and ship software across our digital and operational estate. You will own the strategy, delivery and operation of our Internal Developer Platform and lead 4–5 Platform, DevOps and Developer Enablement teams through their managers.

Qualifications

Experience leading multiple engineering teams at scale.
Ability to define platform strategy and convert it into outcomes.
Strong budget, headcount, and FinOps discipline.
Proficient in cloud-native tech and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Lead 4–5 Platform, DevOps and Developer Enablement teams through their managers.
Define and drive the roadmap for the Internal Developer Platform and tooling.
Hold end‑to‑end accountability for delivery — quality, predictability and pace.
Own the operating budget (opex) and headcount; manage cost-effective tooling.
Improve developer experience by reducing friction and enhancing platform adoption.
Oversee performance, resilience and observability for revenue-critical services.
Align platform strategy with business goals and communicate decisions up to executives.
