Field Energy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Land and Origination Lead (GB) to secure land agreements for its battery projects and to originate opportunities for novel technologies. The role is highly autonomous, requiring strategic thinking, commercial acumen, operational discipline and leadership.

You will lead land acquisition efforts, assess site viability, and guide negotiations with landowners, agents and planners to secure grid connections and timely delivery.

Formación

• Extensive experience leading land acquisition, origination or business development within BESS, renewables or a related infrastructure sector.
• Proven ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and close third party deals independently
• Detailed, up-to-date knowledge of GB planning, environmental and grid infrastructure considerations affecting site suitability
• Strong commercial acumen, including up-to-date knowledge of industry revenue/market data
• Ability to work autonomously with an established network of landowners, agents, consultants and industry contacts

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a direct report; oversee team delivery against targets and budget.
• Provide strategic input on novel technologies; identify commercial and land-related implications.
• Identify and secure new development opportunities; assess grid connection potential and land suitability.
• Engage landowners, agents and solicitors; build strong relationships and negotiate key terms.
• Lead complex land negotiations, protect Field from risks, and close land deals.
