Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a technology-focused Supplier Relationship Manager to maximise in-contract performance with strategic IT suppliers. Hybrid role based at Bupa Place, Salford; 37.5 hours weekly; salary £60,000-£70,000 with a 10% management bonus and strong pension.

You will onboard suppliers, manage governance reviews, reduce costs, drive supplier risk management, and deliver continuous improvement aligned with the Supplier Management Framework.

Qualifications

• FCA/PRA compliance knowledge inSYSC 8/13 and PRA guidelines.
• Experience with supplier assurance or audit processes.
• Experience with outsourced service providers.
• Understanding of supply chain processes and improvement tools.
• Procurement or risk management qualifications held.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance activities.
• Experience with contract terms and schedules.
• Strong commercial awareness and value delivery.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly at all levels.
• Experience building relationships across organisations.

Responsibilities

• Onboard suppliers post contract award and manage relationships.
• Lead governance review meetings with strategic suppliers.
• Oversee supplier risk profile and due diligence activities.
• Drive category strategy, collaboration and innovation with suppliers.
• Lead internal reviews and translate needs into development plans.
• Develop plans for service cost, risk and flexibility improvements.
• Address poor supplier performance and ensure corrective actions.
• Conduct market scanning and benchmarking for competitiveness.
• Provide regular MI reports to stakeholders.
