Job summary

Bupa is seeking an IT Project Manager for our Manchester location on a permanent, hybrid basis. The role oversees planning, execution and completion of key IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.

• Significant professional experience in IT project management, IT delivery or technology-enabled change, ideally within a healthcare environment.
• Proven accountability for end-to-end delivery of small to medium-sized projects or initiatives.
• Strong experience across core project management disciplines: Project planning and execution (scope, schedule, resources, milestones).
• Confident leadership of project teams, creating a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Use of appropriate project management methods and tools, adapting approach to suit delivery context.

• Establish and lead delivery teams, creating a collaborative and productive working environment to manage the delivery of products or services for small to medium-sized initiatives
• Manage the prioritisation of work items, lead iteration planning processes and ensure value is delivered incrementally throughout the delivery cycle
• Participate in reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes within the scope of the team or initiatives
• Take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion projects
• Manage change control processes and assess risks, ensuring projects align with governance frameworks and business priorities
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, ensuring project deliverables meet agreed standards, budgets and timelines
• Ensure project and product quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure
• Proactively monitor performance metrics, implementing preventive and corrective actions as needed
