Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing across IT/Technology categories. The role focuses on delivering high-quality commercial outcomes, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.

The position is hybrid, combining home working with around 8 days per month in our Leeds/Bradford offices. You will lead sourcing projects, partner with stakeholders, manage risk, and drive procurement savings.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience across IT/ Tech categories.
• Good understanding of supplier risk, regulatory requirements and third‑party risk management.
• Confident stakeholder engagement and strong negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to deliver procurement savings and commercial benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing projects that deliver value and align with policy.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify efficiencies using market insight.
• Provide commercial and contractual expertise across onboarding, risk, benchmarking and rate reviews.
• Conduct contract reviews to ensure strong commercial controls and risk management.
• Manage procurement engagement requirements and clarify total cost of ownership.
• Support contract governance with accurate storage, summaries and signing compliance.
