Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead digital initiatives across branches, supply chain hubs and customer networks. You will establish plans, governance and deliver high-quality digital products and services.

You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Rexel teams and external partners, manage budgets, monitor scope and timelines, and report progress in governance forums to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering projects using a recognised methodology.
• Experience in digital, technology, omnichannel or customer-focused environments.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and resources.
• Confident stakeholder communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishing clear project plans, milestones, timelines and priorities.
• Leading projects through the agreed lifecycle, methodology and governance processes.
• Monitoring delivery against scope, time, budget, quality and business requirements.
• Developing, managing and reporting on project budgets and ensuring resources are used responsibly.
• Coordinating people, skills and capacity across cross-functional project teams.
• Identifying risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities, and putting effective mitigation plans in place.
• Providing clear and timely communication to project teams, stakeholders, customers, suppliers and partners.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, reporting and governance records.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and addressing concerns.
• Monitoring project progress and championing high-quality outcomes that meet agreed standards and customer expectations.
