Job summary

WPA Health Insurance in Taunton is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Administrator to oversee end-to-end procurement for the IT department. You will manage purchase orders, supplier relationships and contract renewals, ensuring value for money and compliant processes.

Working with IT leadership and stakeholders, you will monitor supplier performance, produce reports and support budget forecasting, while continuously improving procurement efficiency and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or contract administration.
• Strong commercial awareness and procurement best practice knowledge.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT procurement activities: raise/manage POs, obtain quotes, process requests.
• Serve as key contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout procurement.
• Support supplier onboarding and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor contract renewal dates and assist with renewals or re-tendering.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Assist negotiations and identify opportunities for cost savings.
