Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Contract Manager to own the in-life management of key accounts within the Legal function. You will ensure service requirements, charges and terms are effectively managed to mitigate risk and protect profitability.

You will interpret contracts, support project contracting, and act as a trusted advisor to Service & Account Management. Travel to client sites may be required depending on engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large and complex contracts.
• Good drafting capability.
• Ability to work within senior teams and advise as appropriate.
• Ability to understand and manage complex risks and issues.
• Good communication across management levels.
• Understanding of managed service commercials including P&L and related finance systems.
• Excellent project management and contract negotiation skills.
• Experience of dispute resolution.
• Can-do attitude to problem solving within a team.
• Ability to work with the assigned legal adviser.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain contractual and commercial control documentation (e.g., Contract Calendar; Change Control Log; W@R Register).
• Obligations management: track key customer and supplier obligations.
• Ensure charging, relief and change control mechanisms align with contracts.
• Draft complex CCNs and updated contracts and financial models as required.
• Serve as primary contact for sales and operations on contract issues; escalation to legal advisers.
• Advise sales/ops teams to deliver contractual obligations and identify commercial solutions.
• Interface with customers and internal departments to negotiate contract terms.
• Coordinate with Group policy queries; act as contract expert for company policies.
• Implement best practices for deal risk; monitor identified risks.
• Provide feedback to pre-sales on deviations from modeled solutions.
