Job summary

Hovis Bakeries is seeking an IS Business Partner to bridge IT and business across ABF Groceries. You will translate business needs into digital solutions and act as a trusted advisor, enabling performance and innovation.

The role is Liverpool-based within the IS team serving two ABF businesses. The ideal candidate has FMCG experience, ERP implementation knowledge, strong stakeholder engagement, and proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience at the IT-business intersection, ideally in FMCG.
• ERP implementation experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven leadership with cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business leaders to understand goals and ensure IT strategies support objectives.
• Build trusted relationships between business units and IT; ensure alignment and responsiveness.
• Ensure IT services meet business expectations and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee IT projects from inception to completion within time and budget.
• Translate technology needs into structured initiatives and roadmaps.
• Represent the business in IT-led projects and drive adoption of new tech.
• Monitor IT solutions' performance and track realised business benefits.
• Identify opportunities where emerging tech can create competitive advantage.
