Job summary

Genuit Group in Doncaster seeks an experienced IT Asset and Licence Manager to lead governance and optimisation of IT assets, licensing, and supplier contracts across the organisation.

You will ensure assets are controlled, compliant, and optimised, providing data-driven insights to influence strategic decisions and cost control. This role requires strong analytical, stakeholder management, and governance capabilities, with travel to group sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT asset management, licence management, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and asset management tools.
• A solid understanding of licensing, contracts, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and drive process adherence.
• A commercially aware mindset balancing cost, risk, and service outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end asset and licence management processes.
• Maintain accurate records across CMDB, contracts, and asset repositories.
• Conduct audits, reconciliations, and compliance assurance activities.
• Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes.
• Deliver data-driven reporting on cost optimisation, utilisation, and lifecycle planning.
• Identify and remediate risks, gaps, and inefficiencies.
• Establish and improve governance frameworks, standards, and controls.
