Job summary

Amazon is seeking an analytical Inventory Planner to drive optimization of transportation networks within EU. You will lead capacity and demand planning, build scalable solutions, and collaborate with shippers and stakeholders to exceed customer expectations.

The role requires strong data analysis, an ability to navigate ambiguity, and a passion for logistics and customer experience. You will work across UK and Italy regions within the EU planning standardization effort.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management or advanced use of Excel with statistical analysis tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
  • Experience with SQL for data mining or BI tasks, or experience working with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capacity integration programs and coordinate with stakeholders across demand and capacity planning.
  • Manage and optimize the shipping network to meet the strategic plan and customer needs.
  • Forecast demand and capacity, design software solutions, and drive process improvements in the S&OP function.
  • Drive end-to-end planning for events like Prime Day and other peak periods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and scalable execution plans.
