Job summary

Royal London’s Group Internal Audit (GIA) seeks an Internal Audit Manager to deliver high-quality audits, support the annual plan, and strengthen risk and control culture across the group.

The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and impactful assurance work that shapes risk management. You will contribute to strategic initiatives and partner with other teams to enhance control environments.

Qualifications

• IA and/or risk management qualification/experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of life and pensions insurance products and/or asset management is desirable.
• Experience with data analytics and use of AI in risk/assurance settings is desirable.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver audits on time, cost and quality with the GIA team.
• Contribute to annual audit plan and department initiatives.
• Build credible relationships with stakeholders and provide actionable assurance.
• Identify key controls and assess their management.
• Coordinate audit delivery with other controls testing teams and Group Risk & Compliance.
