Job summary

The Internal Audit Manager will lead risk-based audits across core activities in a large regulated UK financial services business. You will provide independent assurance and forward-looking insights to senior stakeholders during a period of growth and transformation.

You'll shape the audit plan by spotting emerging risks and regulatory developments, coach colleagues, and help build a modern, agile, insight-driven audit function within the in-house team.

Qualifications

• Internal audit experience in L&P
• Confidence leading complex audits and managing competing priorities
• Ability to link audit findings to business objectives and emerging risks
• Proactive, relationship-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering risk-based audits across core business activities
• Providing independent advice on key risks, governance, controls and customer outcomes
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and communicating clear, evidence-based insights
• Shaping the audit plan by spotting emerging risks, regulatory developments and industry themes
