Job summary

Startline is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead the development and execution of a risk-based audit framework within a fast-growing motor finance company. You will align audits with regulatory requirements, industry best practices and Startline’s strategic objectives.

You will manage the audit universe, deliver the annual plan, present findings clearly to senior stakeholders, and drive accountability and continuous improvement across the business while benefiting from a supportive culture

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an internal audit framework and methodology that aligns with regulatory standards, industry best practices and Startline’s strategic objectives
• Create and maintain an audit universe and methodology and agree an annual audit plan using a risk-based approach
• Execute the approved audit plan with precision and integrity, conducting thorough audits, presenting clear and actionable findings, and securing agreement on recommendations and remedial actions with key stakeholders
• Maintain excellent stakeholder relationships across Startline, acting as a credible advisor and partner to business units, senior management and external stakeholders to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
