Job summary

Pension Insurance Corporation in London is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead assurance activities, partner with business units, and drive improvements across processes and controls.

You will deliver reports to Management and Board committees, support risk assessment, and develop best practices in line with FCA/PRA expectations, with opportunities for professional qualification.

Qualifications

• Ability to partner with stakeholders to drive improvements across systems, processes and controls.
• Understanding of internal audit methodologies and standards.
• Willingness to work towards a recognised professional qualification.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders across business functions.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of internal audits, including scoping, testing, drafting reports and documenting workpapers to PIC IA standards.
• Lead defined projects and initiatives, agreeing scope and objectives, producing reports and measuring outcomes.
• Provide regular assurance on issue closure and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to development of internal audit templates and the PIC IA manual.
• Draft status and integrated assurance reports for Management and Board committees.
• Assist in annual written assessment of risk management, internal control and governance.
