Job summary

Trinity House Group seeks an Interim Finance Director for a dynamic retail organisation undergoing transformation and growth. You will lead the finance function, deliver strategic insight, and drive performance across the business.

Reporting to the CEO, you will provide commercial leadership, robust governance, and board-level reporting while developing the finance team and partnering with senior stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven Finance Director experience within retail, consumer, or multi-site environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at Board level.
• Hands-on leader comfortable operating in fast-paced, changing environments.
• Previous interim or transformation experience highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Deliver board-level reporting and commercial analysis.
• Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational improvement.
• Oversee financial controls, compliance, and risk management.

Education
