Job summary

Consult is seeking an Interim Finance Transformation Director to lead an immediate programme of financial and operational improvement. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee a finance transformation across the accounting function, delivering tangible improvements in reporting, processes and commercial visibility.

This delivery-focused role requires hands-on leadership, rapid assessment, and practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance transformation programmes.
• Proven track record delivering improvements in short timeframes.
• Experience in private equity-backed businesses, ideally services or contract-led environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead an immediate finance transformation programme across accounting, reporting and controls.
• Accelerate month-end close and improve management reporting timeliness and accuracy.
• Strengthen cash flow forecasting and revenue recognition processes.
• Improve financial visibility and commercial partnering across the business.
• Establish a transformation roadmap with early deliverables while enabling longer-term change.
• Provide leadership to the finance team and raise accountability and capability.
