Job summary

Cambridge Credentials Limited is seeking an Associate Director in Integration and Separation within the Deals function. You will work across pre- and post-deal planning, blueprints, Day 1 readiness and post-deal implementation, leading multiple workstreams and client interactions.

You will manage strategy development, budgets and delivery plans, while guiding multi-disciplinary teams and senior executives through complex engagements with emphasis on value delivery.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years’ experience in a leading strategy house, Big 4, public sector or corporate strategy/development.
• Deep experience in integration and/or separation within a deals environment.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in managing or supporting high-value business development with senior stakeholders.
• Strong ability to build and commercialise relationships with senior executives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Structured thinking with creativity.
• Ability to talk credibly with C-level clients on industry issues and strategic considerations.
• Ability to evaluate complex challenges and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of market drivers, challenges and opportunities impacting client strategies.

Responsibilities

• Produce and oversee development of initial and final draft outputs ahead of Partner/Director reviews.
• Lead client interactions and provide updates on deliverables.
• Understand operations across functions and interdependencies between organisations.
• Project manage across the engagement programme or multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with Directors/Partners on engagement strategy, budget and delivery plan.
• Lead wider Firm teams on engagements per scope agreed with Director/Partner.
• Act as Engagement Manager for deal execution projects when appropriate.
• Serve as primary client contact across the engagement.
• Take ownership for delivering high-quality client deliverables and day-to-day leadership.
• Apply deal execution and technology to reduce cost and improve delivery where possible.
