Aventum Search Ltd is partnered with a leading insurance client to recruit a Business Development Executive to drive growth in its commercial insurance offering across London. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing UK, you will expand existing relationships and win new business from law firms, banks, funds and receivers.

Regular travel across the London region is a key part of the role, with opportunities to influence strategy, mentor colleagues and report on market trends to senior

Qualifications

• Experience meeting and exceeding sales targets in financial services.
• Strong ability to build relationships with senior decision makers.
• Proven skills in negotiation, presentation, and closing deals.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate finance and related markets.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue and profitability targets across an allocated London client base.
• Build and execute annual sales plans and budgets.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers at law firms, banks, funds and receivers, up to Board level.
• Create and deliver selling strategies across agreed target markets.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and client seminars.
• Report to senior leadership on sales performance, market trends and competitor activity.
• Mentor sales and underwriting colleagues on sales technique, market conditions and relationship management.
• Work within FCA and PRA Conduct Rules, AML procedures and internal audit requirements.
