Cedar is partnering with a business undergoing a major transformation where data and analytics are central to improving operational performance and decision-making. We seek an Insights Analyst to join a growing analytics function and shape data usage across the organisation.

The role focuses on turning complex data into meaningful insights, challenging assumptions and delivering actionable recommendations that influence strategic decisions. Hybrid London-based with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Insights Analyst, Data Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Operations Analyst or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working independently with complex datasets.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or another BI platform.
• Ability to investigate ambiguous business problems and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience using analysis to influence decisions, improve processes or deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity and the confidence to challenge existing ways of working.

Responsabilités

• Analysing operational, commercial and business performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Working with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into structured analytical questions.
• Using SQL to extract, manipulate and interrogate data from multiple sources.
• Conducting root-cause analysis to understand performance issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Delivering actionable insights that support transformation, process improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Developing dashboards and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools where appropriate.
• Challenging existing assumptions and proactively identifying areas where data can improve business outcomes.
• Supporting improvements in data quality, consistency and analytical capability across the organisation.
