Job summary

Michael Page in Leeds is recruiting an Indirect Category Manager to own end-to-end category strategies across indirect spend areas such as IT, Marketing, Professional Services, Logistics and FM. You will partner with senior stakeholders to influence decisions and deliver measurable value.

We are seeking 3–8 years in procurement, with strong negotiation and contract management capabilities, and a proven ability to drive cost savings.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years' experience in procurement, sourcing or category management
• Indirect procurement experience across IT, Marketing, Logistics, Utilities, FM or Corporate Services
• End-to-end category management experience
• Experience developing and executing category strategies
• Strong supplier negotiations and contract management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end category strategies
• Manage complex sourcing and tendering activities
• Deliver value, cost optimisation and risk mitigation
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and senior leadership
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management
• Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking
• Ensure procurement governance and compliance
• Support procurement transformation and change initiatives
