Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, based in Bromborough, UK, is seeking an Indirect Buyer to source and manage procurement for a broad range of indirect spend categories. You will negotiate with suppliers, manage POs, monitor performance, and drive cost reduction while ensuring compliance with policies and quality standards.

The role partners with engineering, facilities, operations and finance teams to deliver best value and supplier performance. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or procurement in manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments.
• Experience managing indirect spend categories and supplier relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness with proven negotiation skills.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• CIPS qualified or studying towards a professional procurement qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities across indirect spend categories (facilities, MRO, IT, logistics, etc.).
• Source new suppliers and develop sourcing strategies for cost, quality, service and delivery.
• Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, contracts, and terms.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and supplier onboarding.
• Ensure procurement records, NDA/SDR and vendor assessments are maintained.
