Job summary

Melber Flinn is seeking experienced senior leaders within diagnostic imaging for an opportunity in the private healthcare sector in the Manchester/North West region. This role requires a strong combination of clinical understanding, operational leadership and people management to drive performance and development of a busy imaging service.

You will lead the operational delivery of imaging services, manage multidisciplinary teams, govern quality and regulatory requirements, and balance budgets

Qualifications

• Significant experience within diagnostic imaging or radiology services.
• Senior management or departmental leadership experience.
• Strong operational and people-management capability.
• Good understanding of clinical governance, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Experience of service improvement and change.
• Commercial and financial awareness.
• Ability to build relationships with consultants, clinicians and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of diagnostic imaging services.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams.
• Manage performance, productivity, capacity and service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, development and performance management.
• Identify and deliver service improvements and new pathways or technologies.
• Support development of new pathways, services and technologies.
• Manage budgets, resources and departmental performance.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, clinicians and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to wider organisational strategy and growth.
