Job summary

Melber Flinn is seeking experienced senior leaders within diagnostic imaging for an opportunity in the private healthcare sector in the Manchester/North West region. This role requires a strong combination of clinical understanding, operational leadership and people management to drive performance and development of a busy imaging service.

You will lead the operational delivery of imaging services, manage multidisciplinary teams, govern quality and regulatory requirements, and balance budgets

This is an opportunity for an experienced imaging professional with a strong combination of clinical understanding, operational leadership and people management to take responsibility for the performance and development of a busy diagnostic imaging service.

The Role

Responsibilities are expected to include:

• Leading the operational delivery of diagnostic imaging services
• Providing leadership to multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams
• Managing performance, productivity, capacity and service delivery
• Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, quality and regulatory compliance
• Workforce planning, recruitment, development and performance management
• Identifying and delivering service improvements
• Supporting the development of new pathways, services and technologies
• Managing budgets, resources and departmental performance
• Building strong relationships with consultants, clinicians and senior stakeholders
• Contributing to wider organisational strategy and growth

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Significant experience within diagnostic imaging or radiology services

• Commercial and financial awareness
• The ability to build effective relationships with consultants, clinicians and senior stakeholders

Experience across modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound and/or Mammography would be beneficial.

A relevant clinical qualification and/or HCPC registration would be advantageous, although we are also interested in experienced operational imaging leaders with a strong understanding of the sector.

Candidates may currently be working as a Head of Imaging, Diagnostic Imaging Manager, Radiology Manager, Imaging Services Manager, Clinical Imaging Manager or in a comparable senior position.
