Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer is required.
• Postgraduate qualification plus evidence of leadership development.
• Significant NHS senior leadership experience.
• Strong financial management and governance knowledge.
• Ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and drive service transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for imaging services across Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging.
• Deliver national and local performance standards and diagnostic waiting targets.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention and staff development.
• Oversee financial management, budget control and business planning.
• Drive quality improvement, governance, patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead service redesign, digital transformation, and cross‑organisational collaboration.
