Job summary

AWD online in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee ICT supplier relationships, contract lifecycle, and commercial performance within a major transformation program.

You will manage a portfolio of contracts, monitor KPIs and SLAs, lead on risk and compliance, and mentor junior colleagues while benefiting from flexible hybrid working and a strong Civil Service Pension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Strong experience establishing supplier relationships and delivering organisational value.
• Proven experience managing the full contract lifecycle in BAU and project environments.
• Experience resolving issues, delivering improvements and acting as an escalation point.
• Sound understanding of financial budgeting and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Contract Lifecycle Management: manage contracts across BAU and project scenarios.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build strong supplier partnerships and develop strategies.
• Performance and Value: monitor KPIs, SLAs, service quality and commercial outcomes.
• Issue Resolution and Escalation: resolve service issues and escalate as required.
• Risk and Compliance: identify, manage and escalate risks and issues.
• Continuous Improvement: drive supplier and service improvements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: work with senior stakeholders and translate technical jargon.
• Team Leadership: provide leadership and mentoring to junior colleagues.
