Pinsent Masons in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead two connected teams delivering high-quality HR services and managing compliance. The role spans HR Shared Services and HR Compliance, balancing day-to-day service with opportunities to shape the function and drive automation to improve efficiency and the employee experience.

You will oversee end-to-end HR processes, partner with HR Systems to maximise Oracle HCM usage, and act as a senior escalation point for complex

Experience leading HR Shared Services and HR Compliance.
Experience in professional services or regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of UK immigration and right to work.
Experience with HR data privacy and GDPR requirements.
Ability to drive continuous improvement across end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership across HR Shared Services and HR Compliance.
Oversee core HR processes across the employee lifecycle and global service delivery.
Act as senior escalation point for complex operational matters and compliance risks.
Lead continuous improvement and streamline ways of working.
Collaborate with HR Systems to maximise Oracle HCM usage and automation.
Develop service measures, controls and management information.
Build relationships across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance and the business.
Lead UK right to work, sponsorship, and visa-related activity.
