Scottish Power is seeking a Performance & Improvement Analyst to join the HR function in Glasgow on a 12-month initial contract. Hybrid working with three days in the office at St Vincent Street.

The role covers financial, operational and process improvement work across HR and Health & Safety, with emphasis on learning and pensions. The candidate will leverage SAP, Excel and SharePoint to deliver monthly performance insights, budgeting, and process enhancements while partnering with budget

Qualifikationen

• Experience in financial, transactional or operational performance disciplines within a complex organisation.
• Forecasting, budget reporting, variance analysis and communicating financial insight to non-finance stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement, process mapping, root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable change.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured analysis, options, recommendations and delivery plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and challenge skills.

Aufgaben

• Own high-quality analysis of spend against forecast and budget, explain variances, and propose corrective actions.
• Lead tracking and analysis of Learning and Pension budgets, identifying risks and cost pressures.
• Coordinate budget and forecast submissions for external services and income, improve data quality for year-end position.
• Develop concise monthly performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Drive structured continuous improvement across HR and Health & Safety financial and operational processes.
