Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Nottingham is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to sit on the Site Leadership Team. You will partner with site leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, build capability, and drive a high‑performing culture.

As a trusted adviser, you will provide practical guidance on employee relations, workforce planning and development, support recruitment and onboarding, and ensure compliance with UK employment law and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a generalist HR or HRBP role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Nottingham Site Leadership Team, contributing to organisational effectiveness and workforce planning.
• Partner with leaders to develop capability, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Lead and support organisational change initiatives with coaching for managers on people-related matters.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management and investigations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and exits in line with UK law and GDPR guidance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Promote an inclusive, high-performing culture through engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Coordinate training and performance management activities to support objectives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and confidentiality in handling data.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and contribute to their review.
• Collaborate with regional/global HR to support site initiatives.
• Support compensation, benefits and salary review processes.
