Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking a HR Business Partner to join our Fawley team. You will partner with site leadership and key stakeholders to deliver effective HR support, aligning people initiatives with business priorities and driving practical solutions across employee relations, workforce planning, and engagement.

You will coach managers, support organisational change including TUPE and restructures, and work with Centres of Excellence (L&D, Talent Acquisition, Reward) to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in an HRBP role, ideally within an industrial, engineering, construction, or infrastructure.
• Experience working in unionised or safety-critical environments is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to support HR initiatives and align people priorities with business needs.
• Support workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and employee engagement activities.
• Provide HR guidance on organisational change, TUPE, restructures, and employee relations matters.
• Coach and support managers to develop effective, consistent, and values-based leadership practices.
• Work closely with Centres of Excellence, including L&D, Talent Acquisition, and Reward, to deliver effective HR solutions.
• Ensure HR processes are compliant with UK employment law and company policies, supporting audit and compliance requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with operational teams and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice.
