Job summary

Persimmon Homes is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant HR Business Partner to join our team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. You will report to the Head of HR Solutions and, with support from a HR Advisor, provide strategic and operational HR services to PLC group functions.

This role involves national travel to attend meetings and requires a true HR generalist with CIPD qualifications and a proven track record delivering change.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced HR generalist with strong generalist capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven track record delivering change within a business.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build senior stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior HR stakeholders to implement HR strategies aligned to business goals.
• Provide input on HR initiatives and manage your own projects.
• Analyse HR data to identify trends and provide insights for decisions.
• Serve as a point of contact for managers and senior stakeholders for employee queries.
• Support investigations, disciplinary, grievance and performance casework.
• Manage complex ER casework to resolution, including Early Conciliation/Tribunal.
• Deliver training and mentor management teams.
• Support reward and performance cycles ensuring consistency with objectives.
• Contribute to succession planning and talent development strategies with managers.
