Job summary

Tarmac is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our Tunstead operations, supporting Cement Plant, Commercial and SC&L Central. This high-impact role partners with senior leaders to shape workforce strategies and ensure best-in-class people practices.

You'll manage employee relations, industrial relations with unions, and change programmes in a fast-paced, unionised environment, delivering business-friendly HR solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant generalist HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience handling complex employee relations and organisational change.
• Experience in a unionised environment with TU relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree and CIPD Level 5 or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice to senior leaders and management.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability cases.
• Lead industrial relations with Trade Unions and support pay negotiations.
• Drive workforce planning, leadership development and change programmes.
