Job summary

Tarmac is seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with senior leaders across our Cement Plant and central operations. You’ll blend strong technical HR expertise with influence to shape workforce strategies and ensure compliant, effective people practices in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You’ll lead employee relations, guide change programmes, and support talent development while partnering with unions and management to deliver business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR background in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience handling complex employee relations cases and change programmes.
• Experience working with Trade Unions and TU reps.

Responsibilities

• Partner senior leaders to provide expert HR guidance on complex people matters.
• Deliver a high-quality employee relations service across disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.
• Lead industrial relations activity including annual pay negotiations with Trade Unions.
• Drive organisational change initiatives, restructures, and consult on redundancy programmes.
• Coach leaders to build capability and drive a high-performance culture.
• Support workforce and succession planning, talent development and resourcing.
