Job summary

Northern Lights Learning Trust is appointing a Head of People to lead the people service across the Trust. Based at the Central Offices in Seaham, you will provide strategic HR advice to leaders, shaping workforce planning, wellbeing, and compliance in schools.

The successful candidate will have CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) or extensive senior HR experience, and a track record in advising and coaching senior staff to deliver excellent educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior people advisory or business partnering experience.
• Experience leading and coaching people colleagues.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Experience working with trade unions.
• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent senior HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the people service in the Trust and shape the People Strategy.
• Advise leaders on workforce planning, wellbeing, and compliance.
• Act as trusted adviser to leaders and support organisational development.
