Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to own the people function in a growing SME. This hands-on, standalone/generalist role offers the opportunity to build and shape HR processes as the business grows.

You'll work with the CFO and managers across the business, covering recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations and development, while ensuring compliance with UK employment law. A fast-paced environment with variety and impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a broad HR generalist role.
• Experience managing recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Administer HR records, platforms, reporting.
• Oversee payroll, pensions and employee benefits coordination.
• Provide HR advice to managers and staff on performance and relations.
• Manage offboarding, exit interviews and final pay.
• Develop HR policies and initiatives with the CFO and managers.
• Support workforce planning with people data and insights.
• Foster a positive culture as the business grows.
