Job summary

Pertemps is seeking an experienced HR Consultant for a Reading-based assignment with Thames Water. The role focuses on delivering a full HR generalist service across the employee lifecycle, advising managers, and connecting business needs with the People team. The position is hybrid, starts ASAP, and lasts twelve weeks.

The ideal candidate will have broad HR experience, strong stakeholder relationships, change management expertise, and the ability to analyse HR metrics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support people managers with the employee lifecycle and delivery of the people strategy.
• Partner effectively to deliver a high-quality HR service to our people.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers with recommendations to influence decisions.
• Analyse and interpret HR data to measure and manage performance and report to leaders.
• Offer guidance on cases and risks in collaboration with Employee Relations.
• Collaborate with HR teams to ensure strategies and benefits are understood and implemented.
