Job summary

VirtualResource is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support a strategic transformation initiative within the UK R&D organisation. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver change, design organisational structures, and ensure compliant governance.

You will leverage data and HR systems to inform people strategies, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive delivery of change programmes across UK HR.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering large-scale organisational change projects in the UK.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic people outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in sensitive situations.
• Able to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated project leadership delivering transformation objectives on time.

Responsibilities

• Support organisational transformation and business change within the UK.
• Partner with senior leaders to deliver organisational change aligning with long-term objectives.
• Provide guidance on organisational design, restructuring, workforce planning, consultation, and governance.
• Lead development and execution of people strategies, stakeholder engagement, and change communication plans.
• Act as trusted advisor on restructuring best practice and people levers.
• Interpret UK legislation and HR policies to ensure compliant change governance.
• Utilise data and analytics to inform people strategy and drive leadership effectiveness.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence and People Services to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure governance, monitor milestones, and provide reporting and insights for decision making.
