Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services, Peterborough, is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to partner with business leaders and managers, delivering a proactive HR service aligned to business objectives across the full employee life cycle.

You will lead talent, performance and engagement initiatives, provide expert ER guidance, and support transformational change while coaching senior managers to build leadership capability in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HR Business Partner or strategic HR lead in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice with ER case handling.
• Experience supporting restructures, TUPE transfers and business transformation.
• High commercial acumen balancing business priorities with people risk.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and influencing at senior levels.
• Ability to interpret people data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Strong communication and written documentation skills.
• Resilient, pragmatic and solution-focused with sound judgement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders translating priorities into people plans.
• Lead the people agenda across accounts including talent, performance and succession.
• Provide guidance on complex employee relations, ensuring fair outcomes.
• Support change programmes including restructures and TUPE; manage risks.
• Coach senior managers to strengthen leadership and drive high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with HR teams to deliver joined-up recruitment, reward, learning and mobility.
• Use HR analytics to inform decisions and improve retention and performance.
