Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a 3-month contract in Oldbury. The role is hybrid with at least three days on-site per week and involves handling HR queries, policy development, payroll processing, and employee relations.

Ideal candidates will have prior HR experience, strong knowledge of HR policies and employment law, and the ability to manage competing deadlines while supporting business-wide people initiatives and organisational development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar HR role.
• Ability to manage a varied workload with deadlines.
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and ACAS.
• Knowledge of Employment law.
• Public sector experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Answer HR queries and manage HR mailbox.
• Support delivery of people strategy projects.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Provide HR guidance to managers and staff on employment matters.
• Coordinate sickness absence management and formal absence processes.
• Support organisational development and employee engagement initiatives.
• Process payroll items and meet payroll deadlines.
