Job summary

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to join our client in Oldbury. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days a week onsite.

The HR Advisor will support the HR team, providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, and help develop and implement new HR policies and procedures. The role requires strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to balance conflicting deadlines in a busy public

Qualifications

• Experience within a similar position.
• Experience managing a varied workload with conflicting deadlines.
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and ACAS best practice.
• Knowledge of Employment law and its application.
• Public sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR mailbox and handle employee relations queries in line with policy and contracts.
• Support and manage key projects linked to the people strategy.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Provide professional HR guidance to managers and employees on terms, conditions and policies.
• Coordinate sickness absence management including OH referrals and formal processes.
• Support managers with restructures, redundancies and organisational change.
• Assist HR Administration during peak workload and absences.
• Contribute to organisational development, learning and engagement initiatives.
• Support audit preparations and actions in HR and operations.
• Assist line managers to improve people and management skills in line with policy.
