Autograph Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HR Advisor in Chepstow to provide hands-on, generalist HR support. You will advise managers on HR policies and employment law, support employee relations cases and coach managers to handle issues consistently, while contributing to engagement and organisational change.

The role involves recruitment support, onboarding, performance reviews and maintaining HR records in a fast-paced manufacturing/operational environment.

Qualifications

• Broad generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment.
• A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proactive, practical and commercially aware mindset.
• Discreet, professional approach to confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted advice to managers on HR policies, employment law and best practice.
• Support employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Coach managers to handle people issues fairly, confidently and consistently.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes and employee departures.
• Support performance reviews, learning and employee-development activities.
• Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare relevant people reports.
• Review HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support organisational change and wider people-related projects.
• Promote an inclusive, positive and high-performing workplace culture.
