Job summary

Autograph Recruitment is seeking a confident and proactive HR Advisor for a broad generalist role based in Chepstow. You will partner with managers, provide practical HR advice, coach teams and support people initiatives to drive business objectives.

Qualifications

• Broad generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment.
• A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
• A proactive, practical and commercially aware mindset; a discreet, professional approach to confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted advice to managers on HR policies, employment law and best practice.
• Support employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Coach managers to handle people issues fairly, confidently and consistently.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes and employee departures.
• Support performance reviews, learning and employee-development activities.
• Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare relevant people reports.
• Review HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support organisational change and wider people-related projects.
• Promote an inclusive, positive and high-performing workplace culture.
