James Andrew Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions) is partnering with a leading supported housing organisation in Exeter to recruit a Strategic Asset Appraisal Manager on a permanent basis. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £51,000 - £56,000 per year and a defined start date subject to notice.

You will lead strategic appraisal of properties, estates and land, analyse performance data, and develop robust business cases for investment, regeneration and disposal.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in social housing asset management or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading teams and managing organisational change.
• Experience conducting asset appraisals, options appraisals, and business case development.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data for strategic decisions.
• Experience improving processes through data-driven approaches and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic appraisal of properties, schemes, estates and land assets.
• Analyse asset performance data and housing demand trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop business cases and option appraisals for investment, redevelopment and disposal.
• Collaborate with Development, Regeneration, Housing Management and Asset teams.
• Review performance against financial, operational, sustainability and social value objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement using data, technology and automation.
• Build relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to the asset appraisal function.
• Support decant, void and redevelopment programmes to maximise asset value.
