Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, DE seeks an experienced Cost Accountant/Decision Support leader to manage the cost accounting system, STRATA forecasting, and service line profitability. The role reports to finance leadership and guides budgeting, ROI, NPV analyses and external reporting to agencies.

Your work ensures accurate P&L statements, supports strategic planning, and drives performance improvement across hospital facilities in Kent and Sussex Counties. Onsite position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in cost accounting, budgeting and decision support in healthcare.
• Experience with STRATA financial software.

Responsibilities

• Manages cost accounting system and service line profitability.
• Oversees STRATA forecasting module and rolling forecast.
• Publishes monthly P&L statements and practice scorecards.
• Supports financial reporting to external agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA).
• Serves as mentor for staff in decision support and reporting tools.
